After successful launches of our Texas Cool Vest products we developed the Modular Unit because of the many questions that we’ve received over the years requesting for a more dynamic and versatile product. We were asked many questions such as: Can you make a Cool Vest with five packs? Six packs? Eight packs? Can you make one for my legs? Can you make one for my calf? Can you make one for my sore arm? Or shoulder? Can you make one for a seat?
Well the answer is YES with the Modular Unit we can make all of those things and many more!
We’ve had been asked to develop specialized units. That’s why we developed the most versatile cooling products on the market using our phase change material that freezes at 65°. Therefore it is our vision that the Modular Unit with its maximum versatility and multiple combination of straps that you can combine one unit, two units, four units or eight units together to create whatever cooling methods you need.
It could be for a bed or a chair, to a leg, to an arm, or anywhere else you might need. For example combining modular units you can create a cooling blanket for an ambulance or hospital gurney for medical needs. Over the years we’ve sold units for MS patients, cancer patients and other body cooling medical requirements. - Light has more flexibility for high contour areas of the body such as the extremities. These pouches are lighter weight for increased comfort but have less duration.
- Standard is a high duration, moderate sized Cool Pack that is perfect for general use on the body.
- Heavy packs are our highest duration packs. These packs have 40% more surface area than Standard or Light packs; More surface area translates into more rapid cooling with less energy expended by the body.
